How it works
Designs need text before the text exists. Choose paragraphs, sentences or words, set the amount, and generate — every output opens with the traditional “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…” line designers recognise on sight, then continues with properly varied pseudo-Latin so line lengths and paragraph shapes behave like real copy.
The word count of what you generated is printed on the panel, handy when a mockup needs to match an expected article length rather than a paragraph count.
The method
The first paragraph/sentence always begins with the canonical opening sentence; subsequent sentences are assembled from the classical lorem vocabulary with randomised lengths (6–15 words) and paragraph sizes (3–5 sentences), using the browser's cryptographic random source so no two generations repeat exactly.

What does lorem ipsum actually mean?
Almost nothing — it is scrambled Latin from Cicero's “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (45 BC), chopped up in the 1500s until the meaning fell out. The surviving fragments speak of pain and pleasure, which designers have been unknowingly typesetting for five centuries.
Why use fake text instead of real copy?
So reviewers judge the design, not the writing. Real text invites debates about wording when the meeting was about layout; neutral filler keeps eyes on spacing, type and structure.
Is every generation different?
Yes, after the fixed opening. Sentence lengths and word order vary each time, like shuffling a deck whose first card is always the same.
