Date Add Calculator — Add or Subtract Days
90 days after January 1, 2026 is April 1, 2026 — a Wednesday. Ninety days is the classic 'within 90 days' deadline, and it lands a full quarter away.
How it works
Ninety days from signing, six months from delivery, two weeks before the event — date arithmetic is everywhere and month lengths make it treacherous by hand. Enter the start, the amount and the unit, and read the landing date with its weekday, which is usually the detail that makes a deadline real.
Negative amounts walk backwards, for 'three months before' questions. Months and years follow the calendar (adding a month to January 31 lands at the end of February, the way date libraries and courts handle it).
The method
Days and weeks are added as exact calendar days on UTC midnights. Months and years are added to the year/month fields, with the day clamped to the target month's length when needed (January 31 + 1 month = February 28 or 29).
Frequently asked questions
What is 90 days from today?
Set the start to today (the field starts there if you clear it), keep 90 days, and read the result — the panel shows the weekday too.
Why does adding a month to January 31 give February 28?
February has no 31st. The convention — used by spreadsheets, date libraries and most contracts — is to clamp to the last day of the target month.
Can I subtract instead of add?
Yes: enter a negative amount, like −30, and the calculator walks backwards from the start date.
